A handbuilt rectangular vase finished with the Korean Guiyal technique, which is characterised by the fluid brush stroke texture created with the Guiyal tool. This vase is lovely with a single stem and Ikebana styled arrangements.

Jino Jeong

Jino Jeong is an Auckland-based ceramicist who creates highly refined and intricate ceramic objects.

Jino was born in Seoul and began his ceramic training at Kyunggi University in South Korea in 2005. He then spent a year at the highly prestigious Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in China in 2008. Since living in Aotearoa New Zealand, Jino has blended his inspiration from NZ nature, culture and atmosphere into his work. Now, he works from his studio experimenting with scale & glaze to create a unique body of work.
