Misma Anaru (Te Hika o Pāpāuma, Rangitāne) is a ceramicist working from her home studio on Waiheke Island, Tāmaki Makaurau. Working exclusively with uku sourced in Aotearoa, she predominantly uses the slab building technique to create functional, minimalist pieces. Her work imparts a sense of intention and ritual to the everyday.
