A hand built vase inspired by Brutalist Architecture. For this collection Kirsten Dryburgh has drawn inspiration from brutalist buildings with grand expansive spaces such as chapels, this translating to the open body and scale of the sculptural vases. The forms are made from solid slabs of stoneware clay with an unapologetic weight to them. The glaze treatment is raw and textural with fissured layers of purples, greens and blues. Enjoy the opportunity for playful arrangements that these vases offer.
